Full Time Report: UNEXPECTED TWIST

Chelsea came to Selhurst Park with big confidence after the Arsenal’s game which they won 6 – 0 at Stamford Bridge. But I guess confidance is not enough to take Palace’s great defensive line at the back, they were well organized and dicipline guarding Chelsea’s top players like Eden Hazard or Fernando Torres from coming in to the goal.

Crystal Palace’s counter attack were more effective than Chelsea’s, the counter attacks worked just like as planned, after several attacks by Palace, it was Joe Ledley who crosses the ball into Chelsea’s penalty box and it was a beautiful delivery to Ward, but John Terry who tries to clear the ball with his header put the ball into his own net.

John Terry’s own goal was the only goal created in this match, and the final whistle ends the game which leads to Chelsea’s position become second after Liverpool gained a three points after beating Tottenham Hotspurs at Anfield. Great performance shoed by the Eagles, specially to the captain Mile Jedinak who played almost perfect, and to the goalkeeper Speroni who made some crusial saves.
